I am from Malaysia, and grew up in a small town called Sibu on the island of Borneo. In 2009 I started my undergraduate degree at University College London and in 2012 I went to Cambridge for the MPhil in Linguistics. In 2014 I moved to California, where I started my Ph.D. at UCLA.
